I grew up in my family's business, Kobrick Coffee Co., where I spent 25 years immersed in the rhythm of hospitality. From our roasting plant in Jersey City to the kitchens and dining rooms of New York City, I learned early what makes food culture so powerful—not just the food itself, but the experiences, traditions, and connections created around it.

Riding into Manhattan with my dad, Lee Kobrick, on the back of his Harley to visit clients, I got a firsthand look at the people and places that shaped New York's culinary landscape. I was welcomed into iconic kitchens and dining rooms, and had the opportunity to work alongside and learn from some of the industry's most celebrated names.

Those experiences shaped how I see food today—not simply as something we eat, but as part of a larger story. The meals we share, the tables we gather around, and the recipes we pass down become woven into our memories and the moments that define our lives.
