Each week I will offer a few products I have been enjoying in my recipes. Quality ingredients make great food! I hope to make sourcing for your family’s kitchen easy!
This La Tourangelle Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (paid link) is so good, and has been my olive oil brand of choice for the last few months. It's great for cooking, or for dipping bread with a little salt. Also, the tin bottle is beautiful to keep on your kitchen countertop.
Maldon Salt (paid link) is my go-to flake salt. For the first time, I purchased it in bulk because I use it on almost everything. This Maldon Garlic Salt is amazing on boiled eggs, over toasts or salads, and it’s great to cook with too.
Meredith Dairy Sheep & Goat Cheese (paid link) was my cheese of choice for this weeks Watermelon- Tomato salad. It paired really well and added cream and salt to balance the dish. I only buy cheese that is made with vegetarian rennet and this is one of my favorites!
I also used my new favorite fresh salsa in the recipe; Jalapa Jar (paid link). I love this salsa with chips or in tacos. We have been going through a jar a week!
Another great "Taco Tuesday" addition are Jovial Organic Black Beans (paid link). I love a glass jar of beans. They taste so fresh and delicious just out of the jar, but stir in a touch of salt and garlic powder and its a great side dish & a great healthy option for kids too.
My favorite Garlic Powder for many years is from Simply Organic. I actually love all of their seasonings and my pantry is stocked with their variety of organic seasonings. I use the garlic powder the most, in almost all of my savory dishes.
